Nick Imudia, the former CEO of the e-commerce company Konga, has tragically passed away. At the time of his death, Imudia was serving as the CEO of D.light, a pioneering company in residential solar energy solutions.

Before the incident, Imudia made a call to his brother in the United States to discuss the distribution of his assets. He also spoke to his young daughter, reassuring her of his enduring presence in her life.

Friends, family, and colleagues remain in shock, unable to comprehend the reasons behind Imudia’s suicide, according to a report by TheWill.

Imudia hailed from the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State. He was previously married to his daughter’s mother, but the marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the state Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident, stating, “Yes, it is true. He committed the act on June 25.”

The news of Imudia’s death has left a void in the hearts of many who knew him.

Imudia led Konga as CEO from 2018 until 2022. Before his tenure at Konga, he held significant positions, including regional director at TCL/Alcatel and general manager at Microsoft Device and Services for West and Central Africa.
