Kitengela woman accused of stabbing her 2-year-old daughter to death and eating her body organs, detained for 10 days.

Olivia Naserian is accused of murdering her daughter Glory Njeri on Sunday at their home in Kitengela’s Milimani Estate, then consuming her insides before neighbors called the police, who arrived and detained her.

On Tuesday, Kajiado court Chief Magistrate Jane Kamau ordered her detention for a another 10 days so that police investigators could finish their work.

In a press statement, the lady admitted to harming her own child, claiming that her actions were motivated by intense self-loathing and the immense pain she had suffered in relation to her child.

“I do not love myself and that is the reason why I decided to take the life of my daughter,” the lady stated.

Locals were stunned by the April 24 incident, which also made social media headlines. Glory Njeri was allegedly stabbed multiple times by Olivia.

Naserian is expected to appear for the hearing on May 8.

Her daughter’s remains were moved to the main morgue at Kitengela Hospital.
