Sadio Mane and his recently wedded teenage spouse, Aisha, are postponing their honeymoon until after her school exams, in accordance with her parents’ desires.

A recent Daily Mail report disclosed that Al-Nassr’s Mane and his new wife will delay their marriage celebrations due to Mane’s commitment with Senegal at the African Cup of Nations.

Although Mane had planned to have his honeymoon after the tournament, he may have to postpone it.

Moussa Ndiaye, Mane’s best friend, shared that Aisha’s parents want her to finish her final exams before the newlyweds can go on their honeymoon, as she is still in school.

Ndiaye told the MailOnline: “Sadio was hoping to have a honeymoon at some point either after the final, if Senegal get there or before, if they are eliminated.

“But Aisha’s family want her to remain focused on her education. She has very important exams comping up and they don’t want this marriage getting in the way.

“Even though she is now married to Sadio, who is the most famous man in Senegal, she is still a schoolgirl and needs to complete her studies.”

Mane, presently in Cote d’Ivoire for AFCON, aims to lead Senegal in defending their title.

As the team’s key player, he seeks to secure another trophy in the upcoming matches against Guinea, Cameroon, and Gambia, aiming to avoid any unexpected elimination.
