Stevo Simple Boy, a rapper from Kenya, is in mourning following his father’s death.
On Sunday morning, the rapper’s management announced the rapper’s father, Anthony Adera, had passed away.
The cause of death was not revealed in the short statement. His management requested his fans to join him in prayer during this difficult time.
“We woke up with sad news this morning announcing the death of Anthony Adera, father to Stephen Otieno Adera famously known as Stevo Simple Boy.
“We urge all his fans and friends to stand with him during these tough times and put him in our prayers. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE 🕊️,” read the statement in part.
Stephen Otieno Adera, commonly known as Stevo Simple Boy, was born on January 28, 1990 in Kenya. He uses rap to discuss matters that are important to society.
He rose to stardom in 2019 after releasing the anti-drug song “Mihadarati.”
