After almost missing a comedy event in Kampala, Eric Omondi uploaded a video to YouTube showing Ugandan ladies throwing undergarments at him.
The comedian was seen picking up the panties and displaying them to the crowd in the video that the singer posted to Instagram before deleting it.
It’s unclear whether the panties were real or part of his comedic act to make the audience laugh.
Omondi claimed in his caption that the undergarments were thrown at him because of his late arrival to the event.
The comedian had admitted that he had missed his flight on social media before departing the country.
Later, he said that after making calls, a private jet was provided for him to use.
“Missed my flight to Kampala,Uganda yesterday morning but PRESIDENT is PRESIDENT. A few phone calls and we take off and Land Privately in the Pearl of Africa Got there late but got there anyway.”
Additionally, he showed that he was in an empty plane while enjoying a drink and striking many theatrical stances.
Omondi stated his plan to join forces together with other comedians and suspend performances as a form of protest against the high cost of living during a recent interview with Kalondu Musyimi.
He stated that there was little reason to laugh at the moment due to the heavy taxes and the general condition of depression among Kenyans.
