Mama Dangote Denies Diamond Platnumz Has Plans to Marry Zuchu

Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz’s mother, Mama Dangote, has opened up about the relationship between her son and artiste Zuchu.

Diamond and Zuchu have been in an on-and-off relationship which has sparked speculation about the nature of their relationship, prompting questions about whether it is genuinely personal or driven by business motives.

Speculation began circulating when Diamond enlisted Zuchu as an artist on his WCB records label and initiated collaborations with her.

Despite initially confirming their romantic connection, this revelation garnered diverse reactions, with some criticizing Diamond, a father of four, for not appearing to be the settling-down type.

In a recent interview featured on Wasafi TV’s Instagram page, Diamond’s mother refuted claims that her son ever presented Zuchu to her as a prospective spouse.

“He has never brought Zuchu to me and said he wants to marry her. What I know is that Zuchu is his artiste. He can actually stay with 100 women but has not decided to marry. What I know is a wife is the one you take your dowry too.”

When told that people know Zuchu and Diamond are dating, she said: “How do they know? Have they gone to the house? This world, since Naseeb started singing, there’s no one who has not been told his wife,” she added.

When inquired about her expectations regarding Zuchu’s reaction to her feelings, she responded with an exclamation that left many puzzled.

Mama Dangote has previously minimized Zuchu’s connection with her son on multiple occasions. When Tanasha relocated to Tanzania and paid her a visit, Mama Dangote endorsed a fan’s remark suggesting that the Kenyan singer would make a suitable wife for Diamond.
