Kizz Daniel apologizes to Tanzanians and promises a free show for fans

On Wednesday, August 10, Nigerian music superstar Kizz Daniel held a press conference to clarify the circumstances behind his recent arrest by Tanzanian authorities.

As previously reported, the singer is on a mini-tour of East Africa and was scheduled to perform in front of a 3000 Tanzanian audience on Sunday, August 7, but did not show up, leading to his detention on Monday, August 8.

Kizz Daniel apologized to the fans during a press conference following his release from detention on Tuesday. According to the Buga singer, the mishap began when the travel agency in charge of transporting him to Tanzania forgot all his luggage in Kenya.

On Wednesday, August 10, Nigerian music artist Kizz Daniel held a news conference to clarify the circumstances behind his recent arrest by Tanzanian authorities.

He stated that all efforts to address the matter had failed, and that he had informed the show organizers of the situation. Daniel apologized for his absence and what appeared to be disregard and disdain for the fans.

To compensate the fans, Kizz said that he will perform for free on Friday, August 12, 2022.
