Twitter’s $7.99 per month blue tick verification program has officially begun.
Soon after taking full control of the social media platform, Elon Musk initially revealed his ambitions, and now Twitter has provided further details on how it will operate.
The updated Twitter Blue for iOS is now available and has made clear what you get for your money.
Twitter said in a statement, “Starting today, we’re adding great new features to Twitter Blue, with more on the way soon.” If you sign up now, you can get Twitter Blue for $7.99 per month.

Twitter’s verification system was previously used to identify genuine users on the platform, such as celebrities, politicians, and journalists.
According to the update, it is currently available in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
Musk announced on Saturday (November 5) that the new system will be rolled out globally.
“Piggybacking off payment system plus Apple/Android is a much better way to ensure verification.
“As soon as we confirm it’s working well in the initial set of countries and we have the translation work done, it will roll out worldwide.”
