Sonko Adopts Son of a Lady Who Died in Saudi Arabia

Mike Sonko, a former governor of Nairobi, won the hearts of many by promising to care of a young boy whose mother passed away while seeking out better opportunities in Saudi Arabia.

Mercy was among three Kenyan ladies whose bodies were flown by Mike Sonko to Kenya after they died while working in Saudi Arabia.

Many others were moved to tears when Sonko offered to look after the young boy after attending the funeral.

While extending his condolences to the family, he also pledged to pay any debts the family has and to give them financial support due to the harsh economy in the country.

Additionally, Sonko pledged that the families will receive justice for what had happened to their daughters.
