Ateker TV 20 people died on Friday after a matatu collided with a trailer between Taru and Samburu area along the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway in Kwale County.
Kwale County Police Commander Josephat Kinyua confirmed the accident, saying the driver of the matatu was trying to overtake when the vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming trailer.
