Moonbug Entertainment, the company behind CoComelon and Blippi, has introduced Big Feelings Music, a new venture dedicated to children’s and family music. The company announced the launch on September 22.
The new business will give artists, creators and studios access to label services, music publishing administration and video distribution, including YouTube. It will also provide rights management, marketing and audience development support.
Moonbug says Big Feelings Music is built on the infrastructure it developed to grow franchises such as CoComelon, Blippi and Little Angel. The company reports that its videos reach more than 150 platforms, while its audio content is distributed across over 100 audio platforms worldwide.
Launch Roster
The first artists on board include Snoop Dogg’s Doggyland, Baby Bandstand, Badanamu, Bob Zoom, English Tree TV, Lotty Friends, Mooseclumps and Skyvibe. Moonbug says more signings are in the pipeline.
“We’ve spent years building the distribution, music publishing, video and platform infrastructure behind franchises like CoComelon and Blippi,” said Jon Benoy, Managing Director of Platforms and Music at Moonbug.
He added that the aim is to let creators focus on making music while Moonbug helps them reach families at scale.
A Big Market, Says Moonbug
Moonbug argues that children’s music is a major category that the big music companies have underinvested in. Citing Luminate data, it says the genre ranked ninth in the US by on-demand audio consumption in 2025, with 15.7 billion streams.
It also over-indexes in video viewing, and CoComelon’s “Wheels on the Bus” was the world’s most-streamed music video of 2025, with more than 2 billion video streams.
An early example of the model is the August collaboration between Doggyland and Blippi on “My Ice Cream Truck (Doggyland Version).”
Moonbug is owned by Candle Media, which acquired it in 2021 and is led by former Disney executives Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs.
