The Anticipated Annual Event postponed!

The Atanayece Cultural Festival that foster harmony and cohesion among Ateker communities has been postponed to early next year.

The event was scheduled for 19th – 21st December 2019, at Moru-Anayece in Letea Ward, Turkana West Sub-county.

”This was occasioned by circumstances beyond our control. We regret any inconvenience caused.” Lokiyoto Charles, CEC Tourism, Culture & Natural Resources.

This is a very important event that brings together all the members of the “Ateker” communities from Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia and South Sudan.

The event is marked by beautiful Cultural dances, choral chants and speeches from various speakers.
