A man who underwent a body modification project to transform into a “Black Alien” has spoken out about the negative effects of his radical transformation, including how it has made it difficult for him to find employment.
Anthony Loffredo stands out in a crowd thanks to his extensive body art, including his split tongue and tattooed eyeballs. He is also covered head to toe in dark ink.
He began designing his reptile style at the age of 27 and has amassed 1.2 million Instagram followers in seven years.
The so-called Black Alien now warns people against following in his footsteps, despite contemplating even more surgery and body alterations.
“This type of change, it’s not just a tattoo, it’s something bigger,” he stressed, while speaking on the Club 113 podcast.
“With my family, I can’t find a job, there’s lots of negative stuff. It could be positive because you feel better, but you have to know there’s also a dark side.”
In another segment of the podcast, the Frenchman revealed how people will cross the street to avoid him, and the tattoo junkie admitted that many people don’t understand his project.
He said: “It’s a fight everyday, because everyday you find new people who don’t understand, who want to judge.
“It’s life, not everyone understands everything. Like me, I don’t understand lots of things about lots of people.
“You can’t judge someone, no one knows what’s inside someone’s head, why they’re doing that, you need to talk with this person.”
