SAPCONE CEO Amoni Amfrey’s Heartfelt Mission: Spreading Joy Among Elderly Residents in Lowoarengak, Turkana North

In a heartwarming gesture of compassion, the CEO of sustainable approaches for community empowerment (SAPCONE) Amoni Amfrey has embarked on a mission to bring joy to the lives of elderly individuals in his home town Lowoarengak in Turkana North.

He distributed food stuffs and clothes to the senior citizens, over 50 of them benefited from the donations. Amoni recognizes the challenges that many elderly people face, especially when it comes to access to wholesome meals.

Motivated by a genuine desire to make a positive impact, He has taken it upon himself to ensure that no elderly person in his community goes hungry.

Speaking while distributing the food stuff, and clothes Amoni said he was touched by the hunger of the elderly and decided to give out his personal donations to the most affected.

The donated food not only provides essential nourishment but also serves as a reminder that they are not forgotten.

Each meal is a symbol of care and respect, acknowledging the wealth of wisdom and experience that the elderly bring to our society.

“I am planing to make these initiative sustainable, of course I cannot do it alone but with the help of friends and well wishers we can make it happen. Moreover the elderly people will be getting free cooked meals five days in a week.” He said.

Amoni said he is on the process to extend the initiative to the entire County where the elderly people will be identified and taken care of their needs in terms of medical and meals.
