Safaricom Cuts Wi-Fi Router Prices By 40pc

Following a nearly half price reduction, Safaricom users will soon benefit from more affordable Wi-Fi routers.

The price of Huawei’s 4G Wi-Fi router has been reduced by up to 40% in stores.

Huawei routers are now available for Sh6,999 instead of Sh10,999, while Adrian routers are now available for Sh5,999 rather than Sh9,999.

According to it, this will improve countrywide home internet access.

“It’s time to enjoy movies galore, gaming with friends and so much more at up to 40 percent off on 4G Wi-Fi,” Safaricom said in a notice.

“This end month, jibambe na 4G Wi-Fi! Enjoy a 40% price drop on Safaricom 4G Wi-Fi routers and indulge in the online experiences you love,” Safaricom said on its Facebook page.

The routers, according to the statement, can be bought straight from the MySafaricom app, Safaricom shops, dealers, as well as through a USSD code.

For a period of 30 days, the routers are provided with 30 GB of free data.
