On Friday, November 11, 2022, social media was flooded with comments after a video of a man believed to be a priest dedicating a popular controversial nightclub surfaced.
The priest, who attended the opening of the famous Quiver Lounge in Kenol, is seen in the video springing holy water on the premises while another member of the clergy holds a basin for him.

The club, which opened a new branch, wanted to get the business off to a good start, so they invited two Catholic priests to bless the location.
Kenyans flocked to the comment section to voice their opinions. Quarters strongly opposed the decision, claiming that it ‘tainted’ God’s name. However, some netizens appeared to be pleased with the decision.
