Singer Judith Nyambura, widely recognized as Avril, has addressed the reported conflict with her partner J Blessing.
In a formal statement, Avril revealed that their seven-year relationship with the music producer has been characterized by arguments, occasionally leading to physical harm.
Despite forgiving Blessing for the recent alleged incident that left her with a bruised face, Avril expressed a desire for support in overcoming the challenges that have impacted their relationship.
“My heart is so heavy that I had to tell the world my business… I forgive you J. Please find it in your hearts to forgive him too. Everyone is deserving of forgiveness in this life,” Avril wrote, asking her fans to forgive J Blessing.
“I recognize that our 7-year relationship and our journey as parents to an amazing little boy has faced challenges, and there have been conflicts that escalated into fights,” she continued. We recognize the need for change and are committed to seeking assistance and learning more effective ways to communicate and resolve problems.”
“Our mutual goal is to foster understanding and growth by creating a more positive and supportive environment for each other.”
Avril refuted allegations from certain critics asserting that she sought attention before unveiling a new song.
She emphasized that she would never exploit such a delicate issue to clout chase.
This response followed her Instagram posts depicting photos of her, one featuring a swollen and bruised face and another with a bandaged face, just hours earlier.
