Four Nigerians arrested after rapper falls from 5th floor, dies in Riruta

Four Nigerian men are being held by detectives in connection with the death of 25-year-old Charles Waga Otieno in Nairobi’s Riruta area.

Waga, a budding rapper, allegedly jumped from the fifth floor of an apartment after an altercation with the Nigerians who were occupants of the house.

The incident occurred after Waga delivered a carpet to a Nigerian resident who paid him Sh400 for the work.

Police are investigating a potential murder, found that Waga screamed, stripped naked, and jumped from the fifth floor, sustaining fatal head injuries.

He was rushed to Coptic Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

The four foreigners have been arrested pending further investigation, and the body awaits autopsy at the mortuary.
